• Bowl in slow motion.
• Repeat a tongue twister five times out loud before throwing the ball.
• Have someone stand in front on you, legs spread. Roll the ball through their legs.
• Bowl with eyes closed or blindfolded.
• Predict the score of your first roll. If you get it, it counts as a strike.
• Lay on your stomach and bowl.
• Sit on someone’s knee and bowl.
• Bowl standing on one foot.
• Bowl wearing fingerless mittens, gloves or oven mitts
• If you’re a righty, bowl with your left hand. If your a lefty, bowl with your right hand.
• Sit Down “Criss Cross Applesauce” at foul line and roll the ball.

DJ Scott Fijolek will be partnering up with Bright Horizons in Wheaton as he provides music and announcements on a Float in the Wheaton Parade. DJ Scott Fijolek (http://www.1stClassDJ.com) & Bright Horizons (http://www.BrightHorizons.com/Wheaton/ ) will be located toward the end of the parade on float #112. The annual Fourth of July Parade will be held at noon July 4 in downtown Wheaton. During the parade, the Wheaton Police Department will temporarily close North Main Street from Geneva Road to Wesley Street, West Wesley Street from Main Street to Wheaton Avenue, Wheaton Avenue from Wesley Street to Front Street and Front Street from Wheaton Avenue to North Cross.

The Wheaton Park District will sponsor Wheaton’s annual fireworks show at the DuPage County Fairgrounds, on Manchester Road east of County Farm Road. This year’s fireworks show will take place on Saturday, July 3, 2010. (In previous years, the event occurred on July 4.) Starting at 6 p.m., the Wheaton Park District will offer entertainment, games, concessions and more at Graf Park, which is located adjacent to the DuPage County Fairgrounds and Monroe School on Manchester Road.
